Enable the documentation of connected machines by consuming telemetry data. With the Point Data API scope you can access data of connected machines. The Data is recorded automatically and independent from manual driver interactions.

With consent of the customer and CLAAS you can use this scope to request telemetry data including machine position and measurements for agricultural operation reports. As precondition the machine needs an active subscription for CLAAS connect.

The API utilizes REST services, OAuth2 and supports JSON data formats.

Each data point of the received JSON format represents information in relation to a single GPS point and timestamp. Due to the mass of data a machine creates over time, the API allows requests with the following restrictions and responses:

• Small time slot of up to 1 day: The values for this request are returned directly within the response of the call.
• Big time slot of more than 1 day and up to 2 days: The values are collected in the background and compressed into an archive.

The main tasks, that can be done, are:

• Request available datasets
• Request available values for a given dataset
• Request equipment’s of an organization
• Request data for a given equipment and dataset using timespan
• Request data for a given equipment and dataset using GPS filter
• Request data for a given equipment and dataset using timespan and GPS filter
